Having worked with an array of multinational Fortune 500 advertisers, I’ve seen first hand that scaling creative content isn’t just about volume; it’s about speed and relevance in a global landscape. That’s why much of my product development for the Ad Builder within Clinch’s Flight Control platform has focused on breaking down the barriers of traditional multilingual/multi-regional ad creation, through tools and technology that give brands greater flexibility to efficiently execute global creative workflows and deliver language-personalized messaging to every localized market.

A First-of-its-Kind Dynamic Font Feature
Ensuring that multilingual campaigns remain both visually consistent and operationally agile across different markets is an ongoing challenge for global advertisers. Traditionally, designers have had to build entirely separate ad creatives to accommodate characters from non-latin-based languages like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK), leading to unnecessary duplication and higher production costs. By making all fonts dynamic and connecting them to a feed, Flight Control’s Ad Builder automatically adjusts fonts based on ad serving scenarios like geo-location and browser language settings. It also employs font subsetting to load only the necessary characters and glyphs, optimizing file size, load times, and performance. Instead of creating separate ad templates for each language, advertisers can use a single dynamic ad template, streamlining campaigns, consolidating creative builds, and ultimately accelerating speed-to-market, and reducing production costs.
Automated and Dynamic Video Subtitles for Faster Global Activation
The demand for video content has skyrocketed, and adding subtitles is key to maximizing effectiveness and view through rates – especially among Gen Z and Millennials who prefer captioned videos. However, activating video ads with subtitles across campaigns that support multiple languages can be a logistical challenge, and external solutions often slow production and limit creative control.
